The Fort McMurray Oil Barons organization extends its deepest gratitude to David Fitzgerald for his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment over the past 10 years as President of the team.
During his decade at the helm, David has been instrumental in shaping the vision, culture, and success of the Oil Barons-both on and off the ice. His passion for the MOB, tireless community involvement, and dedication to serving the players, employees, billets and volunteers within the organization have left an incredible mark.
Under David’s guidance, the Oil Barons have held the reputation of being a first class junior hockey program. David’s pride of being an Oil Baron and “Bleeding Blue” was felt throughout the Fort McMurray community during his entire tenure.
As David steps away from his role, the Oil Barons family would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation. We wish him nothing but the best moving forward.
