The Barons salvaged a win in their final game of a 3 game road weekend and now head home for 5 straight games.
Game 1 saw the Oil Barons gift a 4-3 victory to Lloydminster despite outshooting the Bobcats 21-18 and out chancing them 8-3. A couple strange goals contibuted to the 6th loss of the season. Zack Wittenburg (1st) Brett Printz (3rd) and Justin Fraser (1st) scored for the Barons.
Game 2 saw the Bobcats win a hard fought 4-3 overtime thriller. The MOB once agin outshot the Bobcats 31-26 and outchanced the 16-14. Zach Wittenburg (2nd) Harrison Hendrix (2nd) and Justin Fraser (3rd) scored and Hendrix added 2 assists also. The Bobcats had 6 straight power plays in the last 40 minutes of the game.
Game 3 saw the MOB bounce back with a very gritty effort and defeat the first place Bonnyville Pontiacs 3-2. The shots were 30-23 for the Barons and we out chanced them 13-10. Danny Gayle (2nd) Justin Fraser (3rd) and Harrison Hendrix (3rd) scored in the victory.
