The Barons improved to 18-0 at home defeating Bonnyville 3-2 in a shootout Friday and 5-0 Saturday at the Casman Centre.
Friday saw John Teets (4th) and Ryan Bloom (13th) score in regulation before Mitch Vanderlaan got the shootout winner. The MOB led in shots 37-20 and 20-5 in scoring chances.
Saturday was the Ryan Bloom show as he notched a natural hat trick (14/15/16th) and added an assist. Mitch Vanderlaan (6th) and Jetlan Houcher (18th) also scored for the Barons. Tanner Jaillet collected his 4th shut out of the season and the 8th of his AJHL career. The shots were 52-18 for the Barons and the scoring chances were 27-5 MOB.

The Barons lost forward Hayden Dawes in Saturday's game. He will miss 8-12 weeks with a fractured wrist.
The MOB improved to 16-1-1 vs the North Division.
Alex Cromwell leads the Barons with 103 hits, Mitchell Byrne is next at 80. Jetlan Houcher has 120 shots on net with Ryan Bloom next at 90. Houcher also leads in scoring chances with 81, Brennan Saulnier is next at 56.
Ryan Bloom leads in plus/minus at +32, Austin Yadlowski +25 , Brett McNeil +24 and John Teets +21 round out the top 4.
