The Oilbarons finished a 2-1 home week by defeating Grande Prairie twice after losing to Spruce Grove on October 9th.
The MOB threw a turkey of a game out in the 7-5 loss to Spruce Grove blowing leads of 3-0 and 5-2 as the defence totally imploded in the 3rd period. Brett Printz(4,5) had 2 goals while Kevin Lacroix(2), Adam Durkee(3) and Harrison Hendrix(4) had singles. The MOB were out shot 33-24 and outchanced 18-12 in the game.
The Barons bounced back with a 3-2 overtime victory Friday over Grande Prairie. Taylor Graham(1) scored the winner while Luc Lalor(2) and Harrison Hendrix(5) also added goals. The Barons out shot Grande Prairie 41-30 and outchanced them 22-11. Tanner Jaillet got the win in net.
The Mob made it 2 staright wins with a hard fought 2-1 win over Grande Prairie Saturday. Harrison Hendrix(6) and Luc Lalor(3) scored and Ethan Wood looked solid in picking up the win stopping 24 shots. The MOB out shot Grande Prairie 33-25 and outchanced them 22-8.
