Coach’s Blog – Barons Cough up Furball to Bobcats

The Barons played perhaps their worst home game of the year Wednesday losing 6-4 to Lloydminster. While Lloydminster played a strong road game the Barons struggled in their defensive zone giving away more turnovers than the Fort McMurray Bakery.

The Barons were outshot 40-32 but led in scoring chances 17-13. Adam Durkee (12th), Alex Cromwell (6th), Zach Wittenburg (4th) and Jetlan Houcher (11th) scored for the MOB. The Barons managed only 21 hits with a season low 5 supplied by defenseman.
