The Barons continued their winning ways stretching the win streak to 7 with a pair of victory's this weekend at the Casman Centre.
The Barons defeated the Okotoks Oilers 2-1 in overtime Friday as Zach Wittenburg (3rd) scored shorthanded to send the MOB to their 6th straight victory. Louis-Joseph Sawyer (1st) had the other goal as Tanner Jaillet stopped 35 shots for his 5th win of the season.
The MOB made it 7 straight with a hard fought 4-2 win Saturday over the Canmore Eagles. Hayden Dawes (1st), Danton Ayotte (1st), John Teets (1st) and Colten Meaver (1st) all lit the lamp for the Barons. Rookie netminder Jesse Gordichuk was solid stopping 28 shots for his 2nd win of the season.
