Movember is just around the corner meaning men from across Canada will be sporting those dusty upper lips and curly moustaches in support of men’s health!
The Casman Centre is proud to present – Handlebar Hockey – Fort McMurray’s first ever 24-hour hockey game in support of men's health including prostate and testicular cancer research and treatment. The game will take place on Friday, November 17 beginning at 7:30 p.m. and will feature 68 players and volunteers.
Handlebar Hockey has also partnered with several health and support groups in Fort McMurray, including Alberta Health Services and the Canadian Mental Health Association to bring resources and information to all to all players, volunteers, and spectators in attendance.
Lots of amazing silent auction prizes are up for grabs and all funds raised from the game and auction will be donated to Movember Canada by Handlebar Hockey.
It’s going to be a fun-filled 24 hours of moustache-loving hockey featuring bar-down writers and toe-drags, so be sure to stop by the Casman Centre on November 17 and 18 in support of men’s health!
